Progress towards goals and handwashing data can be accessed through your PathSpot SafetySuite Hub and directly on the PathSpot HandScanner AlertsHub. Wash Hands WASH HANDS Team members complete a full 20-second handwash with warm water and soap. Place Hands Under Hand Scanner PLACE HANDS UNDER HANDSCANNER After each handwash, team members simply place their hands under the PathSpot Hand Scanner to complete a quick scan to detect for dangerous contaminants. Flip Hands Over FLIP HANDS OVER The PathSpot HandScanner scans both sides of hands to identify any contaminants on all parts of team members’ hands and wrists. Instant Feedback PathSpot Result Screens INSTANT FEEDBACK PathSpot HandScanner detects contaminants in just two seconds with real-time feedback on the quality of each handwash. Team members will safely return to work or be directed to rewash and rescan to validate the contaminants have been removed, before anyone gets sick.

The device detects invisible gut biome molecules that may transmit Norovirus, Salmonella, E.coli, and other foodborne illnesses.

The scan is not meant to replace handwashing and should only be used after a handwash. A “pass” does not mean that a handwash is no longer necessary. The scan is a final quality assurance step to make sure the most harmful contaminants that could make someone sick are fully removed before handling food.

Despite the blue-purple color, it is not UV. It is safe for standard use. Please ensure the light is on throughout the scan to ensure an accurate result. Hands should be within 6 inches of the base of the device.

Yes, please scan. When the device is disconnected from WiFi, the detection still functions, and all data saves locally. When a connection to WiFi is restored, all data will sync to your PathSpot Account.
